For customer education

Interactive walkthroughs your users actually finish.

Chapter-divided tours. Branching by role. Live updates when the product changes. Completion analytics so you know which tours work.

The old way

Help-docs nobody reads.

  • Walls of text and screenshots — users skim, miss the key step, and ticket support anyway.
  • Screenshots go stale the moment the UI changes; the doc gets re-shot or quietly rots.
  • No data on which steps users skip or get stuck on — only ticket volume tells you.
  • Different users need different paths, but you can only write one linear article.
With HeimdallPresent

Interactive walkthroughs users click through.

  • Click-through tours feel like using the product itself — users learn by doing.
  • Re-publish when the UI changes; every embedded walkthrough refreshes immediately.
  • Per-step funnels surface exactly where users drop off — fix the friction.
  • Branching tours adapt: admins see admin steps, end-users see end-user steps.

Three ways your team will use it

In-app onboarding tours

Walk new users through their first project, first import, first publish. Branching tours adapt to who they are — admins see one path, end-users another. Completion analytics tell you where you're losing them.

Feature-announcement walkthroughs

When you ship a new feature, drop a quick interactive tour into your in-app notification or help-centre. Users adopt features 3× faster when they can click through them rather than read about them.

Interactive knowledge-base articles

Replace screenshot-heavy help-doc pages with an embedded demo. The user clicks through the actual flow. When the UI changes, you re-publish the demo — every help article reflects the new product immediately.

A new-user onboarding tour

Below is an interactive onboarding for Tessera Board: chapter intros, a guided first-project setup, and a final "you're set" send-off — exactly what you'd drop into your own first-run experience.

Customer-education FAQs

Does it integrate with Intercom / Beacon / Pylon?

The web-component embed (<heimdall-demo>) drops into any help-widget surface that supports custom HTML. The iframe embed works wherever you can paste an HTML snippet. We don't have native Intercom integration yet, but the embed-anywhere approach covers it.

Can I gate a demo by user segment or plan?

On the marketing side: visibility modes (public / password / private) gate the demo itself. On the in-app side: render the embed conditionally based on your own segment logic — you decide when to show which demo.

Does it work in our embedded help widget?

Yes — both the iframe and the <heimdall-demo> web component work in any modern browser. The web component gives you style isolation, so your widget's CSS won't bleed in and break the player.

Can users navigate the demo non-linearly?

Yes — chapter steps give the demo a table-of-contents feel with up to 4 navigation buttons each. Branching hotspots let you build "choose your own adventure" tours that adapt to what the user wants to learn next.
