Cookie Policy
Short version: this marketing website sets no analytics or tracking cookies at all. That's why you don't see a cookie banner. The only things stored in your browser are a few first-party preferences that never leave your device.
Analytics without cookies
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool, to understand how visitors find and use the site — for example, which pages are most popular. Plausible is built for exactly this situation:
- No cookies — nothing is set or read on your device.
- No personal data — no persistent identifiers, and IP addresses are not stored.
- No cross-site or cross-device tracking — measurements are aggregate page statistics only.
- EU-hosted — Plausible is an EU company and all analytics data is stored in the EU.
Because no cookies are set and no personal data is collected, UK GDPR / PECR does not require a consent banner for this — which is why there isn't one. You can read more in Plausible's data policy.
What we do store locally
The site uses your browser's localStorage to remember
two preferences:
-
Your theme preference (light or dark) under the
key
theme. -
Your billing-cycle preference (monthly or annual)
under the key
billing, so the pricing toggle remembers your choice between visits.
These are first-party preferences stored entirely in your browser. They never leave your device, are not sent to our servers, and aren't shared with anyone. Under UK GDPR / PECR they are "strictly necessary" preference storage and don't require consent.
You can clear them at any time through your browser's storage settings.
Server access logs
Our web server records standard access logs (IP, URL, user-agent, timestamp) for security and diagnostics. These are kept for up to 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Product cookies are separate
The HeimdallPresent application (the customer-facing product) does use cookies necessary for authentication and session management. Those are covered in the in-app cookie notice presented at sign-up, not on this marketing site.
Changes
If we change how this site uses cookies or analytics, we'll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent.
